We Welcome You to become a member of University Synagogue!

By Definition, a synagogue is "a gathering place for the community." Ours is a house of worship, study and assembly, and it is the nucleus of cultural, spiritual and social awareness and activity for all of the members of our Congregation.

For over 60 years, University Synagogue has been an exemplary congregation. We belive our success emanates from the strength of our "Synagogue Family." During this time, we have successfully responded to the life-cycle needs of hundreds of individuals and families who have become involved in our worship services and religious educational programs. Other cultural activities and social events are designed to provide valuable guidance, support and fellowship at every stage of our lives. Every day, we reinforce the vibrant relationship and strengthen the bond between our individual family members, our synagogue and our community.

University Synagogue extends throughout West Los Angeles, including areas such as Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Bel Air, Westwood, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Culver City and Beverly Hills. We are located one mile west of the San Diego Freeway (405).

We are pleased that you have shown interest in University Synagogue. We extend our sincerest invitation for you to learn more about who we are as you consider becoming a member of our synagogue family!
